The fastest in the world

I’m going to write here some info about the fastest runner in the world since I don’t have anything else to write about. His name is Usain Bolt he is incredible athletic human being. Born 21 August 1986 is a Jamaican sprinter. Bolt holds the Olympic and world records for the 100 meters at 9.69 seconds, the 200 meters at 19.30 seconds and, along with his teammates, the 4x100 meters relay at 37.10 seconds, all set at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Bolt became the first man to win all three events at a single Olympics since Carl Lewis in 1984, and the first man in history to set world records in all three at a single Olympics. His name and achievements in sprinting have earned him the media nickname "lightning' Bolt". Bolt turned professional in 2004 but missed most of his first two seasons due to injuries; he was eliminated in the first round of the 200 m heats at the 2004 Summer Olympics. In 2007, Bolt beat Don Quarries’ 200 m Jamaican national record with a run of 19.75 s. In May 2008, Bolt set his first 100 m world record with a time of 9.72 s, improving upon his previous personal best of 9.76 s which was made earlier in the month. As a result of Bolt's successes in athletics, he was named the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year for 2009.

Zimmerman last hearing apology

George Zimmerman’s lawyer offered up an apology for his client’s apology at his bond hearing on Friday. If he’d known it would upset Trayvon Martin’s family, he would not have allowed his client to offer up the mea culpa for the shooting death of their teenage child. “I wanted to say I am sorry for the loss of your son,” Zimmerman said Friday. The Martins’ attorney, Benjamin Crump, accused Zimmerman at a press conference after the hearing of trying to pander to the court with the apology, which he described as “insincere. “The apology was somewhat of a surprise because we had told them this was not the appropriate time, but they just disregarded that,” he said. If Martins’ attorney would react in that manner with a press conference, he wouldn’t have allowed Zimmerman to do it. “I'm not sure that we would have done it at the bond hearing,” he said. “So, I apologize for that.” Zimmerman was released from a Florida jail late Sunday night on $150,000 bail as he awaits his second-degree murder trial in the fatal shooting of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin. I believe he got off easy because if i see myself in his shoes i think i wouldve been put away for a long time. Thats even if i have a better record than he does this is why many people see this case more than just a death significally about racism.

Stand your ground law

In a recent case of the murder of Trayvon Martin the Florida stand your ground law has been revised thoroughly. In a description of the death of Martin how it occurred. The stand your ground law specifically states that one has to be attacked or ones life has to be threatened to retreat an attack of killing. The state of Florida approaches this stand your ground law as early of 1895 when U.S. supreme court declares that an innocent person under attack was “not obligated to retreat, but was entitled to stand his or her ground, and meet any attack upon their attacker with a deadly weapon, in such a way and with such force as honestly believed to save their own life” .Zimmerman the attacker did not use stand your ground law because he followed Martin all over the community, and he was never under deadly attack until Martin decided to defend himself. Also stand your ground law doesn’t apply if you can retreat, something Zimmerman could have done and decided not to. This is why I believe Zimmerman should be prosecuted for murder.

Something I learned today

Today bored searching on the web I came across a small passage of Steve jobs. He’s recent death was very popular as many people starting to recognize that he invented apple products. Steve Jobs is known for many things like the Apple II, the Macintosh, Pixar, the iMac, iTunes, iPod, iPhone and ipad. He is also known for his signature black turtleneck, Levi's jeans and gray New Balance sneakers. But just how Jobs arrived at that look after wearing neckties, bowties, vests and jeans covered in patches, isn't as known. Steve Jobs was a visionary, a brilliant innovator who reshaped entire industries by the force of his will, a genius at giving consumers not only what they wanted, but what they didn't yet know they wanted. He was also a world-class asshole. Walter Isaacson's best-selling biography of Jobs offers a revealing look at what the author has called "good Steve" and "bad Steve." Good Steve was brilliant, charismatic, a champion for excellence, an alchemist who turned a moribund computer company into gold. Bad Steve was petulant, rude, spiteful, and controlling, a man who thought nothing of publicly humiliating employees, hogging the credit for work he hadn't done, throwing tantrums when he didn't get his way, or parking his Mercedes in handicapped spots. For several years, he even denied the paternity of his daughter so that the child and her mother had to live on welfare. Is crazy how all this information was written in his biography and for him to be such a powerful and intelligent man.

An passage of a hero

Do you know what a hero is? A hero does a lot of good things. They are brave, determined, and love taking care of people. My hero is Roberto Clemente. He was born on August 18,1934 in Barrio San Anton in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He died December 31, 1972. He is a wonderful role model.  Roberto was a good person. He was the youngest in his family. Roberto was good at sports and was excellent at baseball. He earned a lot of medals for his games. He always wanted to become a professional baseball player. Since Roberto was good in baseball, he signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers and then went to play with the Montreal Royals. In 1954 Roberto was number one draft pick for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He did very well. Everyone thought he was the best right fielder. He was awarded twelve Golden Glove Awards, and won National League Batting Champ four times. Roberto said, "I am convinced that God wanted me to be a baseball player. I was born to play baseball." Roberto died in a plane crash. He was on his way to Nicaragua because an earthquake hit and he wanted to help the people of that area. He was bringing medicine and supplies. The plane crashed because there was too much weight from supplies. He died December 31, 1972. Roberto was a really good person. He wanted to do everything he was capable of doing. He is a true hero. He was determined, compassionate and cared about people. He cared more about other people than himself. Even though he was not rich, he gave food and money to people who needed it. He was very responsible and kept his word. He made a big difference in a lot of people's lives.

My favorite basketball Player

My favorite basketball player which to many is the best ever because of how he revolutionized basketball is Michael Jordan. A legend on the court, Jordan added to his legacy with a totally unexpected retirement just before the 1993-94 season. After a year spent playing minor league baseball, he authored yet another amazing chapter to his story by returning to the Chicago Bulls late in the 1994-95 campaign with his basketball skills intact. In 1995-96 he won a record eighth scoring title and led the Bulls to their fourth NBA championship of the 1990s, and in 1996-97 he raised those numbers to nine scoring championships and five NBA crowns in the decade. A summary of Jordan's basketball career inevitably fails to do it justice. The 6-6 Brooklyn native attended high school in Wilmington, North Carolina, where he was cut from the basketball team as a sophomore. He spent his college career at North Carolina, playing for an NCAA Championship team as a freshman and hitting the game-winning shot in the title game. He was named College Player of the Year by The Sporting News in both 1983 and 1984 and won the Naismith and Wooden Awards in 1984. After his junior year he was chosen with the third overall pick in the 1984 NBA Draft by the Chicago Bulls. Jordan burst into the big time with a fabulous first season, earning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 1984-85 after averaging 28.2 points per game. An injured foot sidelined him for 64 games in his second campaign, but he came back late in the year to score an NBA playoff-record 63 points in a first-round game against the Boston Celtics. Jay Z biography

 

One of my favorite hip hop rappers has to be jay-z. Here i found some information about him that to whoever likes him as well might find entertaining. Born and raised in the rough Marcy Projects of Brooklyn, NY, Jay-Z underwent some tough times after his father left his mother before the young rapper was even a teen. Without a man in the house, he became a self-supportive youth, turning to the streets, where he soon made a name for himself as a fledging rapper. Known as "Jazzy" in his neighborhood, he soon shortened his nickname to {Jay-Z}, and did all he could to break into the rap game. Of course, as he vividly discusses in his lyrics, Jay-Z was also a street hustler at this time, doing what needed to be done to make the money he needed to launch his rap career. When his rap ambitions became a reality, he decided to make an untraditional decision and start his own label rather than sign with an established label. Together with friends Damon Dash and Kareem "Biggs" Burke, Jay-Z created Roc-a-Fella Records, a risky strategy for cutting out the middle man and making money for himself. Of course, he needed a quality distributor, and when he scored a deal with Priority Records, he was set to release his debut album, Reasonable Doubt. I most like his new book which I read a short summary of, the book is called Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went from Street Corner to Corner Office by Zack O’Malley Greenburg and has been out since March 17. Jay-Z’s team managed to keep buzz about the book to a minimum but still did not manage to stop it from being released.

This week there's been a lot of speculations of Dwight Howard opting out of his final contract once this season is over. I as a fan would like to see Howard stay on Orlando as hes the best vented in the Nba. Upwards intentions has been either to stag in Orlando or leaving to new Jersey which will be opening a new stadium at new York and will be named the new York Brooklyn Nets Howard wants to be the new superstar over there to play with one of the top point guards in the league Deron Williams. Hopefully Dwight will stay here and the magic can pull off a trade which will bring another star player here. He has yet to commit to the magic by signing the contract extension of next year hopefully he will.

A day of work

A day of work for me its usually very busy. I work as a barber at a shop down by Osceola parkway. Its very different since me and my coworkers just started working here, since our last barbershop closed. It has been a little difficult for the begginning weeks but we are learning to get use to it. Some days is really busy, others are slow all we do is play ping pong or pool all day. But we know sooner or later we will pick this place up back again because we are extremely talented we provide a good job. Being a barber has been my passion and hobby since I was a kid. I learner on my own and managed to make a career from it.

mlk holiday

On Martin Luther's king holiday I took a drive down to Tampa. I left on Sunday morning and came back on Monday afternoon, this work I was doing it on the way since the drive is long. The reason for me going to Tampa was to go to clearwater beach party at night and get mind off of things and responsibilities. My best friend came from Puerto Rico to clearwater and I met him there we partied hard all night. It was worth the drive but I spent a lot of money that's wat alcohol does to you. But back to work and regular life. Overall it was a great weekend.
